Cheerleading

Aunique athletic discipline which incorporates cheers, chants, stunts, cheer arm motions, jumps, tumbling and dance.

What is Pom Dance?
With no specific requirement of core skills, the development of creative and entertaining dance of any style is allowed. (street, hip-hop, jazz etc.)
Poms must be used and the routine is usually performed to lively up-beat music but should not flow like lyrical.
Cheers and Chants (with the exception of Schools Pom Dance Div), Stunts and Tumbling are NOT ALLOWED. Must include Cheer Arm motions, Jumps and Formations.

What is Cheer Dance?
With cheer arm motions and jumps as core principals, additional compulsory elements of kicks, splits, leaps and pirouettes are added.
Cheers, Chants, Stunts and Tumbling are NOT ALLOWED.

What is StreetCheer?
Street Cheer is a brand new element of Cheerleading, a unique fusion of Street Dance and Cheerleading moves. You'll find the funkiest, most up to date dance moves combined with Cheerleading Chants and Cheers, Ultimately, it brings a fresh and interesting twist to both Street Dance and to traditional Cheerleading.

What is Stunt Group?
Stunt group is a team of 5 cheerleaders who perform a continuous routine of stunts. No tumbles, cheers or chants are allowed. Teams are marked on stability, originality, timing, balance and of course SAFETY!

What is INDIVIDUAL?
An individual routine consists of one person on the floor displaying skills in cheer / chant, tumbles, arm motions, cheer jumps. An individual routine should be dynamic, original and very entertaining.

What is CO-ED?
CO-ED refers to a team who have 1 or more males, teams who only have females are ALL-FEMALE!
