What is GymMark? Â
The GymMark Scheme has been developed by British Gymnastics (BG), in partnership with Sport England and the Home Country Sports Councils, Sport NI in our case. Its purpose is to provide recognition for clubs that are committed to providing quality experiences, encouraging young people to take up sport, whilst focusing on improving their talent and maintaining a life long participation in sport. GymMark has helped clubs to grow and develop, improving membership numbers and levels of performance.
What does it mean to our club? Â
Gaining GymMark accreditation means that our club is recognised by British Gymnastics and their partner Sport NI as a safe, effective and child friendly club, providing a service in the community that children and young people, their parents/carers and others with a passion for Gymnastics can trust.
The foundation of most clubs is its youth structure, so by attracting and encouraging young members we can help you develop the sport by improving gymnasts and developing a quality workforce.
We would like to thank Katie Irwin from British Gymnastics for her support through the process and of course our RGTC Team of coaches, Directors and volunteers.
WELL DONE US! Â
