Hannah Whelan & Jenni Pinches Visit RGTC

Hannah Whelan  is a British artistic gymnast who currently trains Liverpool Gymnastics Club. She was the youngest member of the 2008 Summer Olympic British team where she helped the team to a 9th place finish. As of 2011, she is ranked 1st in Great Britain having won two consecutive British Championship titles in 2010 and 2011. Hannah has just returned from competing in th World Championships where the Team finished 5th and Hannah finished 9th, the highest rank for the team at this level to date.

Jenni Pinches is a British artistic gymnast who also currently trains in Liverpool Gymnastics Club. Jenni has trained from age of six. Jenni was too young last Olympics but is currently training to prepare for the Olympic selections and trials. Jenni is currently a member of the senior team and has just returned from the World Championships as part of the team who competed and gained the fantastic results mentioned above.

Today RGTC are top news on the British Gymnastics website and are delighted to share good news. Our Gymfusion team are the first team in the UK to be selcected to attend the Great Bristish Gymfusion event and perform at the Gala. We also had kind words of support from DUP leader and First Minister, Rt Hon. Peter Robinson MLA, along with Junior Minister Jonathan Bell MLA were present to lend their support to the I AM BG campaign, to congratulate the girls on their recent success at the world championships in Tokyo and to hear future plans for the Rathgael club.
