50 Years of Excellence
1976 — Rathgael Gymnastics began its remarkable journey in an unlikely place: a boys’ home. What started as a modest program would blossom into one of Northern Ireland’s most cherished athletic institutions.
The club quickly outgrew its humble origins, moving to Bank Lane where our community first took root. As our membership expanded, so did our ambitions.
We relocated to Balloo, officially establishing ourselves as Rathgael Gymnastics and Trampolining Club. The culmination of our early years came when Princess Anne officially opened our facilities, bestowing upon us our proud title as Rathgael Gymnastics and Tumbling Club.

For five decades, we’ve believed gymnastics is for everyone. Our commitment includes:
